Katie Orr Sharp is a contributing writer for Modern Luxury’s umbrella of digital and published magazines — including CS, Interiors, Brides, Men’s Book, and NS. She has also recently contributed to Fodor’s Travel, Zipcar, and Crate & Barrel.

Katie received her BA in Communication from Salem College, her MLA in Journalism from Harvard University Extension School, and her MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business. While in Boston, she published a thesis entitled: In Photos We Trust: Conflict, Resolution, and the Fabric of Reality.

Katie is currently working on seeing all seven continents and Modern Wonders of the World by 2030. She is also an avid hiker and Broadway enthusiast. She lives in Charlotte (but makes far too many trips to Chicago) with her husband and three fur kids.
